100 Years of Kappa Delta
The Sigma Phi Chapter of Kappa Delta recently marked their 100th anniversary at the University of Georgia. Over 200 alumnae and 100 current students joined the chapter for a luncheon at the Athens Country Club.

On February 11th, 2024, the Gamma Chi Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated was chartered at the University of Georgia. 11 women chartered the chapter just one week before their official new member presentation which took place on February 17th, 2024 at the Tate Student Center.
On March 11, 2024, brothers of the Georgia Alpha chapter of Phi Delta Theta had the opportunity to assist in a deck repair project through the chapter’s partnership with the Live Like Lou Foundation’s fight against ALS.
Beta Upsilon Chi, a chapter within Greek Life’s Interfraternity Council, recently held a drive through food pantry at their home on Milledge Avenue. Through this event, BYX was able to raise awareness regarding food insecurity within the local community.
On March 14th, 2024, the University of Georgia’s Greek Life Office and Delta Gamma hosted the Morgan Delaney Memorial Blood Drive. Morgan Delaney, a member of Delta Gamma, passed away last fall after a battle with a rare form of cancer.
The Red Dress Gala celebrated the end of Heart Health Week, a week dedicated to spreading awareness regarding women’s heart health within the community.
The University of Georgia honored five students on Tuesday who heroically jumped into action to save a woman and two children after the woman’s car veered into a creek in rural Burke County.
On February 24-25, 2024, UGA Miracle hosted their annual Dance Marathon event. The student-run organization, which is the largest on the University of Georgia’s campus, raised over 1 million dollars for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta over the course of the year.
UGA’s Epsilon Chapter brought home two awards from the 2024 Southeast Regional Convention.
This week, members from Kappa Sigma, Phi Delta Theta, Pi Kappa Alpha, Sigma Nu, and Tau Epsilon Phi participated in the Greek Park Cleanup. More than 70 Greek students came together to clean up the outdoor spaces surrounding the chapter facilities.
