Kappa Delta Receives Three Awards at National Convention

This summer, four members of the Kappa Delta executive council at the University of Georgia attended the 65th Biennial Kappa Delta National Convention held in National Harbor, Maryland. At this convention, the chapter was given three awards. These included the House Corporation Award of Excellence, the Collegiate Chapter Achievement Award and the Academic Excellence Award.

President Madeline Kerestman, Vice President Abbey Crowther, Vice President Inclusion Lily Athey and Vice President Learning and Development Sarah Jane Halyak attended the convention on behalf of the chapter.

The criteria of the awards can be found below:

· Academic Excellence Award: Recognizes chapters that equal or exceed the all-women’s average (AWA) on their campuses and rank first or second in the Panhellenic ranking for three or more terms during the biennium.
