2023 Greek Awards Ceremony

On Sunday, November 12, the Greek Life Office at the University of Georgia held the 2023 Greek Awards Ceremony. Chapter presidents, council members, chapter officers, and chapter advisors gathered to celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of UGA’s four Greek councils and their members over the last year. Representatives from UGA Miracle and Order of Omega were also in attendance.

The event began with a reception catered by Big City Bread. After the reception, the awards ceremony kicked off with an opening address from University of Georgia’s Vice President for Student Affairs Dr. Michelle Cook. The Greek Life Office was also honored to have President Morehead, who gave closing remarks, in attendance as well.

Finalists and winners were recognized for their involvement and contributions to their organization or council. Some of the biggest awards of the evening included Chapter of the Year, the Jere W. Morehead Academic Achievement Award, the John Bateman Award, and Outstanding Chapter President Award.
