2022 Greek Awards Ceremony

Last Sunday, November 13, the Greek Life Office at the University of Georgia held the 2022 Greek Awards Ceremony. Chapter presidents, council members, chapter officers, and chapter advisors gathered to celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of UGA’s four Greek councils and their members over the last year. Representatives from UGA Miracle and Order of Omega were also in attendance.

The event began with a reception catered by Big City Bread. After the reception, the awards ceremony kicked off with an opening address from University of Georgia President Jere W. Morehead. The Greek Life Office was honored to have President Morehead in attendance.

Finalists and winners were recognized for their involvement and contributions to their organization or council. Some of the biggest awards of the evening included Chapter of the Year, the Jere W. Morehead Academic Achievement Award, the John Bateman Award, and Outstanding Chapter President Award.

The Greek Life Office is proud to announce the recipients of these awards:

The ceremony ended with closing remarks from Victor K. Wilson, Vice President for Student Affairs. The Greek Life Office would like to thank Order of Omega for sponsoring this year’s award hardware and for everyone who attended the 2022 Greek Awards.
