The 108th Interfraternity Council Vice President of Recruitment, Wade Durrence
Wade Durrence is a third year Mechanical Engineering major from the small town of Claxton, Georgia. Wade began his involvement with the Interfraternity Council as the Recruitment Chair for Sigma Phi Epsilon. Along with holding a seat on the SigEp Executive Board as the Recruitment Chair, he also served as a clerk for the 107th Council. Wade is also involved with UGA Ducks Unlimited and various clubs within the Engineering School. Outside of Greek Life and Campus Involvement, Wade enjoys spending time with family, spending time with friends, and spending time outdoors hunting and fishing.
As the Vice President of Recruitment for the 108th Interfraternity Council, Wade oversees the recruitment process for all 26 chapters, which includes setting dates for the formal recruitment process in the spring and fall and serving as a liaison between the 26 recruitment chairs and the executive board. Wade’s goal for the 2023 recruitment seasons is to continue to expand the council community and serve as a resource for members involved in the recruitment process all while fostering friendships among the various members of the council.
