Opeyemi is young leader in the making, guided by faith. She lives by Proverbs 16:9 ~ We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our footsteps.
Opeyemi is seeking to grow at the University of Georgia. As a first year, she has begun to get involved in organizations, such as African Student Union, East Campus Village Community Board, Whatever It Takes Mentorship and Road Dawgs. Through these organizations, she has seen herself in a new light. Her current goal is to attend medical school to become a Forensic Pathologist, but she is still open to other medical pathways as she finds her place in the healthcare field. Yemi has a love to help others and plans to mentor young women as she grows and has new experiences. Yemi wants everyone to find their happy place in life and will use her experiences and education to help many people one day. As Yemi completes her freshmen year, she is prepared and excited to see the plans God has for her.
Opeyemi will change the world through healthcare opportunities and youth mentorship.
