In the fall of 2009, the Interfraternity Council launched a new program that aims to identify young leaders from the moment they join a fraternity and help develop their leadership skills known as the Future Leaders Institute. After participating in the Institute, participants should be prepared to face the most difficult of challenges as they begin to assume leadership positions on campus.
Each chapter may nominate up to four members each year from their current fall new member class or the past spring new member class to participate. Participants commit to meeting once a month in the fall and spring terms, with a goal of developing relationships with other future leaders, honing in on their own personal leadership skills, and discussing critical issues in the life of the university and Greek community.
